At your first visit we go through various options and provide you with a comprehensive treatment plan and breakdown of costs. Your plan will be designed to restore or maintain optimum oral health to keep you healthy and smiling confidently. We'll advise and guide you to items that are most important in keeping your oral health at its best. We will also help you to get the full benefit of all your dental entitlements. Medical Card Holders
Currently due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, we are temporarily not providing treatments under GMS (General Medical Services) Scheme.
These treatments are still available through the HSE please contact your local Primary Care Centre.
PRSI Dental Cover
One Dental Health Check per Year
If you are currently employed, or self employed (or are the spouse) and paying PRSI, you are entitled to an annual free dental exam, and a scale and polish annual from €15-€30. This is available from Jan 1 to Dec 31 every year. You can get more information on this and your entitlements here. Please provide us your PPS number in advance of your appointment, so that we can check your eligibility.
Surgical Procedures Covered
Certain oral and periodontal surgeries are covered by insurance. Our Oral Surgeon, Justin Moloney, is a fully participating surgeon with VHI, Laya Health and Aviva health insurance. This means that all procedures will be fully covered by your insurance and there is no need to seek prior approval for the treatment from your insurer. The initial consultation of 100 euro is not be covered by your insurance. Sedation and other dental procedures are not covered by insurance.
Treatments qualifying for Tax Relief
As number of specialised dental treatments qualify for tax relief. This means you can offset the full cost of the treatment against your income tax liability. This is done by filling in a Med 2 form which, when treatment is completed, our dentist will sign and submit on your behalf. Treatments covered by the Med 2 include: Orthodontics, Bridges, Crowns, Veneers, Root Canal Treatment, Periodontal treatment, and surgical extraction of a wisdom tooth. Plan and Budget Your Dental Care
Membership Plan, Phased Treatments or Staged Payments
We can provide phased treatments if needed. This way you will always know the cost of treatment and how you can pay for it before we do anything. We offer stage treatment plans. This allows you to spread the cost of treatments over time or save for treatments before you have them. And we will be offering Membership Plans to help you plan and budget in advance for your oral and dental care thereby ensuring you get the best care.
Saver Plans, Financing Plans
To make it easier for you to plan your dental care for you and your family we are now offering both saver and financing plans. Saver plans allow you to pay an amount in monthly and save for treatment beforehand. Finance plans allow you to get treatment right away and finance it over a period of time with either no or low interest. Find out more about these options here.

In the case of children and young adults, the records are kept until the patient’s 25th birthday; or their 26th birthday if the young person was 17 when they finished treatment. If a patient dies before their 18th birthday, records are kept for 8 years. (Dental Council Code of Practice relating to Professional Behaviour and Ethical Conduct, 2012). Your rights You are legally entitled to a photocopy of your personal data upon written request. As well as a right of access you also have the right to have any inaccuracies in your data rectified and to have the data erased. (NOTE: The maximum fee for an access request is €6.35). You will be provided with a photocopy of an x-ray in response to an access request.
